Personal Testimony

I had a very hard time coming into this world; in fact I should not even be here. I believe the Lord spared my life for a purpose and I am going to do everything possible to serve Him.

Katrina weighed one lb. nine oz. when she was born at the end of a six month Pregnancy. She had a grade three cerebral bleed, and heart arrhythmia. She almost died two times. Katrina came home weighing five and a half pounds when she was two and a half months old.

When she was six months old the Dr. told her mother she had cerebral palsy and would walk only with a walker or Canadian cains. That type of C.P. is usually associated with retardation. It could not be tested till she was three. At three it was found Katrina had high verbal and social skills, but she would have trouble with math.

Around this time she met Melody Shelton, a child singer. Katrina played the tape of Melody so often, that she wore the tape out. This inspired Katrina to be a singer,but she had such stage fright she was unable to sing in front of people. When Katrina was sixteen she started voice lessons. Her teacher recommended that she start to sing for church. She tried it and God helped her to sing in front of people, she no longer has stage fright.

God has been good to Katrina. She walks fine now. Many people have told Katrina that God has saved her for something special.
